So 5-7 ain't bad. We will try again next Saturday. Now to some Oilers stuff. The Oilers walk into the Prudential Center tonight to face the New Jersey Devils fresh off their defeat to the Red Wings, and minus Martin Brodeur (could God give the Oilers any bigger break on this road trip). Jeff Deslauriers gets the start tonight (a good choice i might add), Grebeshkov draws back in off IR and Ladislav Smid is questionable. Peckham sadly will not be back again tonight as he was reassigned to Springfield, too bad, he scored a ton of points in my books by beating up Matt Cooke. Anyways these two teams have met 4 times since 01-02 and the Oilers have won 3 out of the 4. Keys to the game in my opinion would be the Oilers power play. The Devils play really good D, so our power play is where we will get our best chances, Souray and Visnovsky will have to big, along with Ales Hemsky who has been pretty hot as of late.
